Give of Your Best (Leviticus 2:1-16)

It’s natural and normal to draw close to the ones we love. In those relatioships, distance actually suggests a problem. But that “drawing close” has to be appropriate; it’s on their terms, nots our. The same is true in our relationship with God. The Old Testament sacrifices were God’s prescribed way for Old Testament believers to draw close to Him. From them we can see some principles about how we, as believers, can and should draw close to the God with whom we have a relationship.
