We’re to rejoice with those who rejoice. But what if that one with whom we are to rejoice is rejoicing because he got something we really want, and we’ve never ever gotten it? It’s easy to be happy for someone’s success when we feel successful. But what about when we’re relegated to second fiddle? That’s next to impossible to feel happy for that one who beat us out. Thriving outside the spotlight is one of life’s most difficult challenges. Today we’ll get some advice on handling this very difficult, and very common situation.
